From mid January 2010 on the pCon.planner 6.2 with extended functionality for interior design and presentation will be available for free download. The actual innovations are now defined and we are pleased to announce some of the major new features to you:
New features for interior design:
- A couple of new room elements (glass doors, counter windows, sliding doors and many more) allow very individualized room solutions
- The new Mirror tool makes it easy to mirror room elements and furniture.
- With the new drawing element “Cuboid” you can easily and quickly construct own room elements.
- pCon.planner 6.2 also features a convenient comment function.
- Objects can be fixed to prevent inadvertent moving.
- The Regions tool allows you to create planes from single polylines, which can then be extruded.
New system functions:
- New Zoom functions allow make it easy to zoom in to a selected object and to view it from all sides.
- Drawings in the DWG 2010 format can be opened in pCon.planner.
- The Document Settings dialog provides additional information on your current drawing, such as the Status of Modification of the document, the file size or the file path.
- By means of LoD (Level of Detail) the performance of pCon.planner was improved significantly.
- The system requirements of pCon.planner could be reduced. Now even computers with older Graphics Cards or Drivers will be able to handle various rendering modes.
New functions for presentation:
- In the animation editor the current position is displayed when playing an animation. So you can start to play the animation from any point on.
- Further to picture sequences you will also be able to save an animation a video in the AVI format.
Miscellaneous:
- New and attractive pictograms from the free symbols catalog make it easy for you to clearly label the different areas of your room situation (e. g. communication, lobby, conference…)
With the pCon.planner 6.2 you are offered an even greater freedom for the planning of your individual room and furnishing concepts. You can visualize your ideas easily and in an extremely deep level of detail. There are only a few weeks left until the release. We will keep you up to date.
